Il Rifugio Capanna Punta Penia è il più alto delle Dolomiti. Gli autori del documentario hanno trascorso tre mesi in vetta alla Marmolada gestendo il rifugio e cercando di immortalare questo luogo storico tramite interviste ad ex-gestori, alpinisti e persone ad esso legate. Attraverso le storie, gli aneddoti e i ricordi dei protagonisti, il documenatario restituisce un'istantanea della Capanna a chi la ama e a chi non la potrà mai vedere.

The Capanna Punta Penia is the highest hut in the Dolomites. The creators of the film documentary have spent three months on top of Mount Marmolada, running the hut and immortalizing this historic place through interviews with former hosts, alpinists and people who are fond of it. Stories, anecdotes and memories told by the protagonists give a vivid picture of the hut to those who love it and those who will never see it.
